- Layout what you plan to bring before you go
You get a bird’s eye view of what you will be bringing, and when you see that your spread covers the entire bedroom floor, you’ll know there needs to be some adjustments. - Ask yourself – “can I get this where I am going – and is it cheap?”
Don’t waste space bringing things that you can easily buy where you are headed. Sometimes this means ditching the soap and opting to purchase your toiletries when you arrive. Unless you are headed somewhere remote, know what will be available to you. - Pack tight & smart
The WAY you pack matters a lot. Utilize the space in a smart way, pack everything tightly and in a logical way. The heavier things that you won’t be needing to reach easily can go at the bottom. And when it comes to clothes, don’t just throw them into your bag, fold them nicely and or roll them for maximum space. - Get a quality bag
Something large and durable that can be thrown around. A bad situation is having your bag fall apart on you mid-journey. - Account for additional space
If you’re on vacation you may want to bring some souvenirs back, so don’t depart with your zippers bursting open. Account for room and potential gifts, as to not put yourself in a tough spot.
